		<description>Since is it usually difficult to find both good managers with the soft skills that are also highly technical, we handle this problem a different way.
We have one of the senior technical people on the team play the &quot;Technical Lead&quot; role.  As part of this role, it is their responsibility to maintain the technical architecture, and to bring to management and the PM things that can effective the project objective (cost, schedule, scope, quality) from a technical perspective.
We have found it to be quite effective, and allows us to get the best managers possible even if they don&#039;t have a technical background.</description>
