I use the cell phone alarm notification on GONG sound while it is charging in the wall overnight. It is not on vibrate.

This is my warning. Keeping a cellphone next to the head, especially for an entire night while the body is replenishing and healing may be dangerous.

Check out this blog. Keep Cell Phones Away From Your Children! Plz RT http://bit.ly/3qGRGf

I surprised that no one suggested the Sonic Clock (http://www.firebox.com/product/1896/Sonic-Bomb-Alarm-Clock). My daughter has one and you can hear the vibration through-out the house.

My mobile phone alarm (LG Voyager) does a good job of waking me up when it's on vibrate. I put it under my pillow and it wakes me up easily. But that may not work for everyone...if you move around alot in the night, it could just get knocked off the bed or down between the mattress and the headboard and not do anyone any good.
