I have posted 2012′s Pragmatic Manager emails. I have been writing in themes this year:

I am writing about geographically distributed teams in preparation for my Geographically Distributed Teams Workshop with Shane in April:

Building Trust in Any Team

Start Your Geographically Distributed Projects Right

Earlier this year, I wrote about the project portfolio for the Peer Project Portfolio coaching that wraps up next week:

Always Ask the Zeroth Question About Your Projects

Are You Being Guilted Into Doing More?

Are Your “Shoulds” Driving Your Decisions?

Focus on One Thing at a Time

I had several goals with the frequency of my emails: to reconnect with my people on my email list. I had not emailed frequently enough in the past years and I wanted to resolve my bounces and lost email addresses. I thought if I provided enough value, I could entice lost emails back to me.

I also wanted to sell my new offering, the peer project portfolio coaching. But I didn’t want to do a hard sell. That just doesn’t fit for me. I thought if I couldn’t sell my value, I didn’t deserve to sell my service. So, I thought, why not sell my coaching the way I sell my normal consulting? I market myself by speaking and writing. Why not do it for this service? That’s what my email list is for. Duh on me.

Please let me know if you like this idea of several themed newsletters. And, what I think is a low-key sales pitch.

If you are not on the list, please do add yourself. There’s a signup form on the upper right of this page. Or, ask me to add you. If you think you are on the list and you have not received an email, your email has bounced, or your email is not confirmed. Email me personally, and I can fix this. And, if you like what you read, please comment on one of the newsletter pages. That’s what they are there for.

I’m working on what I think is a great newsletter for Monday, so keep those comments coming…

I have finally transitioned fully to WordPress. What a relief. All my old articles are finally posted. I have tagged back to somewhere in 2006. I’ll keep tagging as I get around to it.

What do you think? I’d love your feedback.

If you think you are supposed to be on my email list, and you are not receiving the emails, please let me know. I have many good emails that bounced yesterday. I know, because I correspond with you! If you are on the list, and you would like to be off, and you want me to take you off, no problem, I will. If you are not on the list and you would like to be on, I can do that too. I only want you on the list if you want to be there :-)
