We had a wide-ranging conversation, all about reducing cycle time so teams and organizations can master their true agility.
Agility is never the point. However, agility supports the goals of the organization. That includes:
- Delivering products the customers want to use, when those products are still valuable.
- Allowing managers to clarify their operational and capital expenses. (Yes, those are a little different when the product is internal-only vs. when companies ship to customers.)
- Why collaboration makes all the difference when it comes to true agility.
We discussed all of this with respect to my most recent book: Project Lifecycles: How to Reduce Risks, Release Successful Products, and Increase Agility.
Give it a listen—you'll enjoy it.
And Arin, thanks for hosting me!
