Workshop Objective: Effective problem solvers use all the traditional techniques and tools to solve problems. This workshop teaches you the traditional problem-solving techniques, and introduces alternative techniques.

Workshop Overview: Problems arise at work. Sometimes, it's just not clear where the problems are, nor how to solve the problems. Attendees learn the seven traditional problem-solving tools and the traditional problem-solving loop. This workshop provides training and experiential exercises to understand when to use which tools and techniques for solving problems.

Target Audience: Project staff, leaders, managers.

Prerequisites: None.

Workshop Duration: 1/2-1 day, depending on your needs

    3. Line Graph
    4. Histogram
    5. Pareto Analysis
    6. Scatter Diagram
    7. Control Chart
    8. Cause and effect (Ishikawa, fishbone diagrams)
  3. Alternative problem identification steps
    1. System dynamics: cause and effects and delays
    2. Theory of Constraints: bottlenecks and flow
